Shayla (she/her) is a photographer based out of Toronto who specializes in portrait and lifestyle photography.
Shayla has been taking photographs since the age of 14 when she received her first camera as a gift. She is self taught in both film and digital photography and also has experience photographing events and live concerts.
She describes her photography as 'personality oriented' because she loves to capture people as they are, in natural lighting and familiar atmospheres.
Shayla has had her work shown in two galleries, OUTTALINE and Summer Friends Gallery. She has been published in HorizonT Magazine (Issue 15), Scorpio Jin Magazine (Volume 41), 1723 (Issue 43, Volume 2), and Mob Journal (Volume 32, Issue 4), and has been a photo contributor to the Innis Alumni and Friends Magazine since 2017.
